In November 2002 the Long Beards of New York was recreated. Before this time there was a break were the organization was not serving the public. During 2006-2007 the Long Beards were recognized as the #1 Jake Signups. Also in 2007 the Long Beards Chapter was honored as the #1 Chapter in New York State out of the 59 Chapters.
