Sullivan County Long Beards Mission Statement

The Sullivan County Long Beards strongly believe that our children are the heirs to the future we leave them. We fully intend to be a positive influence on these children both individually and with much emphasis on family through active involvement. We intend to instill a love of all things outdoor which goes well beyound hunting and fishing. To these ends, we hold JAKES (Juniors Acquiring Knowledge, Ethics, and Sportsmanship) events, we send children to DEC camp and provide scholarships. We also advocate good land stewardship to provide habitat as a resource that our children will benefit from. Our members are true volunteers dedicated to these causes and working hard to achieve them.
